Hit Factor Sports Limited Warranty Policy

Hit Factor Sports is a DBA of Mayol Engineering LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Limited Warranty Policy applies to priming devices, accessories, and related products sold by the Company (“Products”).

1. When Warranty Coverage Begins

Warranty coverage begins on the date the Product is delivered to the customer, as shown by the shipping carrier’s delivery confirmation or other proof of delivery accepted by the Company (“Delivery Date”).

2. Warranty Coverage

Lifetime Warranty — Plastic Parts

The Company warrants covered plastic parts manufactured or supplied as part of the Product against defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the Product, beginning on the Delivery Date.

This lifetime warranty applies only to covered plastic components and is subject to the exclusions and limitations contained in this Warranty Policy.

One-Year Limited Warranty — All Other Components

The Company warrants all other covered Product components against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the Delivery Date.

Covered components may include, as applicable, metal components, electronics, sensors, motors, wiring, switches, fasteners, and other non-plastic components supplied by the Company.

3. What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship arising during normal and intended use of the Product.

Warranty coverage applies when the Product has been:

  • Installed and operated according to Company instructions and safety guidance;

  • Properly maintained and cleaned;

  • Used with compatible equipment; and

  • Used under normal operating conditions.

4. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover damage, malfunction, or failure caused by or resulting from:

  • Misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper operation;

  • Improper installation, setup, adjustment, maintenance, or cleaning;

  • Failure to follow Product instructions, warnings, or applicable safety practices;

  • Unauthorized modification, alteration, repair, or disassembly;

  • Use of incompatible or unauthorized third-party parts or accessories;

  • Normal wear and tear;

  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect operation;

  • Accidents, impacts, drops, fire, excessive heat, moisture, chemicals, corrosion, or improper storage;

  • Electrical problems or improper power sources;

  • Damage caused by third-party equipment or machinery;

  • Variations, defects, or problems associated with primers, brass, ammunition components, or other consumable materials;

  • Commercial, industrial, or unusually high-volume operation outside the Product’s intended operating conditions, unless specifically approved by the Company in writing; or

  • Any use of the Product outside its intended purpose.

5. Warranty Remedies

If the Company determines that a Product or component has a defect covered by this Warranty Policy, the Company may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the affected Product or component;

  • Replace the affected component;

  • Replace the Product with a new, refurbished, or functionally equivalent Product; or

  • Refund the purchase price of the affected Product or component when repair or replacement is not reasonably feasible.

Replacement components or Products may be new, refurbished, revised, or functionally equivalent to the original.

6. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To request warranty service, the customer must contact Hit Factor Sports and provide information reasonably requested by the Company, which may include:

  • Customer name;

  • Original order number or other proof of purchase;

  • Product name and model;

  • Delivery Date;

  • Description of the problem;

  • Photographs or video showing the issue; and

  • Photographs or video showing the Product’s installation and operating setup, when relevant.

The customer must not return a Product to the Company without first receiving return instructions or authorization from the Company.

7. Repair Service Shipping — United States Customers

If a Product must be returned to the Company for inspection, diagnosis, warranty repair, or other repair work, the customer is responsible for all costs associated with shipping the Product to the Company.

For customers located within the United States, after the Company completes an approved warranty repair, the Company will cover the standard shipping cost to return the repaired Product to the customer within the United States.

The Company is not responsible for expedited shipping, special handling, optional insurance, or other upgraded shipping services requested by the customer unless specifically agreed to by the Company in writing.

If the Company determines that the repair is not covered by warranty, any repair charges will be communicated to the customer before non-warranty repair work is performed. Unless otherwise agreed by the Company, the Company will still cover standard return shipping within the United States after the repair or evaluation.

8. Replacement Parts — United States Customers

For approved warranty claims within the United States involving replacement parts that do not require the Product to be returned for repair, the Company may provide covered replacement parts and standard domestic shipping at no charge to the customer.

The Company may require photographs, video, return of the defective component, or other reasonable verification before issuing a replacement.

9. International Orders and Customers Outside the United States

For Products delivered to, located in, or returned to an address outside of the United States, all shipping, transportation, customs, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, import fees, export fees, and other related charges associated with warranty service, repair service, replacement parts, or Product returns are solely the responsibility of the customer.

This includes, without limitation:

  • Shipping a Product to the Company for inspection or repair;

  • Shipping a repaired or replacement Product back to the customer;

  • Shipping replacement parts to the customer;

  • Shipping defective parts back to the Company when requested;

  • Customs duties;

  • Import or export taxes;

  • Brokerage or carrier processing fees; and

  • Any other international transportation or government-imposed charges.

Mayol Engineering LLC d/b/a Hit Factor Sports does not cover international shipping costs for warranty replacement parts, repair services, replacement Products, or returned Products.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that returned Products and replacement parts may be lawfully shipped, exported, imported, and received in the applicable country.

Failure or refusal to pay required international shipping, customs, duties, taxes, or related charges may prevent the Company from completing or returning a warranty repair or replacement.

10. Warranty Ownership and Transferability

This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the Product and is not transferable unless the Company expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

Proof of original purchase may be required.

11. Replacement Parts and Warranty Duration

Repair or replacement of a Product or component does not restart or extend the original warranty period unless required by applicable law.

A repaired or replaced component remains covered for the remainder of the applicable original warranty period.

Plastic components covered by the lifetime warranty remain subject to the lifetime plastic-parts warranty for as long as the original purchaser owns the Product, subject to the terms and exclusions of this Warranty Policy.

12. Limitation of Warranty Remedies

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the remedies provided in this Warranty Policy are the customer’s remedies for covered warranty claims.

This Warranty Policy does not limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable federal, state, or local law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mayol Engineering LLC d/b/a Hit Factor Sports shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use, misuse, failure, repair, replacement, or inability to use a Product.

Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. Consumer Rights

This Limited Warranty gives the customer specific legal rights. Customers may also have additional rights that vary by state, jurisdiction, or country.

Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to reduce or eliminate rights provided to consumers that cannot legally be waived or limited.

Hit Factor Sports Product Safety & Liability Notice

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE — READ BEFORE PURCHASING, INSTALLING, OR USING ANY PRODUCT

This Product Safety & Liability Notice (“Notice”) applies to products sold under the Hit Factor Sports brand by Mayol Engineering LLC d/b/a Hit Factor Sports (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Hit Factor Sports priming devices, primer-feeding devices, accessories, replacement components, and related products are collectively referred to in this Notice as the “Products.”

Ammunition reloading, primer handling, and the operation of reloading machinery involve inherent hazards. Improper installation, adjustment, operation, maintenance, modification, or use of reloading equipment may result in primer detonation, multiple-primer or chain detonation, fire, burns, flying debris, serious bodily injury, death, or property damage.

By purchasing, installing, possessing, or using a Product, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Notice and accept the responsibilities described below.

1. Assumption of Inherent Risks

You acknowledge and understand that ammunition reloading and primer handling involve inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated.

Such risks may include, without limitation:

  • Accidental primer ignition or detonation;

  • Detonation of multiple primers;

  • Fire or ignition of nearby combustible materials;

  • Flying fragments, debris, or components;

  • Burns;

  • Mechanical pinch, crush, or impact hazards;

  • Damage to ammunition reloading presses or other equipment;

  • Property damage;

  • Serious bodily injury; and

  • Death.

You knowingly and voluntarily assume the inherent risks associated with ammunition reloading, primer handling, primer feeding, and the operation of reloading machinery.

You further assume risks arising from your own improper installation, adjustment, maintenance, operation, modification, misuse, or failure to follow applicable instructions and warnings.

Nothing in this Notice is intended to waive or limit any right or remedy that cannot legally be waived or limited.

2. User Responsibility

The safe installation and operation of the Product are ultimately the responsibility of the user.

Before operating any Product, you are responsible for:

  • Reading and understanding all Hit Factor Sports instructions, warnings, manuals, labels, and safety information;

  • Reading and following the instructions and safety warnings provided by the manufacturer of the reloading press or other equipment used with the Product;

  • Understanding proper ammunition reloading and primer-handling procedures;

  • Ensuring that the Product is properly installed, aligned, adjusted, and secured;

  • Inspecting the Product and associated equipment before use;

  • Maintaining the Product in clean and serviceable condition;

  • Immediately discontinuing use if any component appears damaged, excessively worn, loose, improperly aligned, or otherwise unsafe;

  • Keeping the work area clean and free of loose powder, spilled primers, combustible materials, and unnecessary ignition sources; and

  • Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety requirements.

If you do not understand how to safely install, operate, or maintain a Product, do not use it until you have obtained appropriate instruction or assistance.

3. Personal Protective Equipment

Appropriate personal protective equipment must be used when operating ammunition reloading equipment.

At a minimum, users and other persons in the immediate operating area should wear suitable impact-rated eye protection whenever primers are being handled, loaded, fed, or processed.

Additional protective equipment may be appropriate depending on the equipment, environment, and operation being performed.

4. Primers and Ammunition Components

Mayol Engineering LLC d/b/a Hit Factor Sports does not manufacture the primers, cartridge cases, propellant powder, projectiles, or other ammunition components typically used with the Products.

Primer dimensions, sensitivity, condition, manufacturing tolerances, contamination, storage history, and other characteristics may vary between manufacturers, product lines, and individual components.

The Company cannot control and is not responsible for the quality, condition, compatibility, manufacture, storage, handling, or performance of primers or other ammunition components supplied by third parties.

The user is responsible for determining that all ammunition components used with the Product are appropriate, undamaged, properly stored, and suitable for the intended application.

5. Third-Party Equipment and Compatibility

Hit Factor Sports Products may be designed to operate with reloading presses, automation systems, sensors, motors, controllers, accessories, or other equipment manufactured by third parties.

The Company does not control:

  • The manufacturing tolerances of third-party equipment;

  • Wear or damage to third-party equipment;

  • Modifications made to third-party equipment;

  • Improper adjustment or maintenance of third-party equipment;

  • Aftermarket components installed by the user; or

  • Changes made by third-party manufacturers.

The user is responsible for verifying that all equipment used with the Product is properly maintained, correctly configured, and compatible with the Product.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, the Company does not warrant the condition, safety, or performance of third-party products.

6. Installation and Adjustment

Proper installation and adjustment are essential to safe operation.

The user is responsible for verifying correct installation, alignment, adjustment, mounting, clearance, fastener security, electrical connections, sensor positioning, and any other setup requirements applicable to the Product.

Do not operate the Product if:

  • Installation is incomplete;

  • Components are loose or damaged;

  • Primers are feeding improperly;

  • Components are binding or jamming;

  • A primer appears crushed, tilted, inverted, damaged, or improperly positioned;

  • The reloading press or other equipment is operating abnormally; or

  • Any condition exists that may reasonably create an unsafe operating condition.

Stop operation immediately if abnormal resistance, noise, feeding behavior, primer damage, mechanical interference, or any other unexpected condition occurs.

7. Modifications and Unauthorized Repairs

Do not modify, alter, bypass, defeat, or remove any safety-related component, warning, guard, sensor, control, or other safety feature associated with the Product.

Unauthorized modifications or repairs may create unsafe operating conditions.

Damage or failure resulting from unauthorized modification, alteration, repair, misuse, or installation of incompatible components may not be covered by the Company’s Limited Warranty.

The Company is not responsible for injury, damage, or loss caused by unauthorized modifications, alterations, repairs, or misuse to the extent permitted by applicable law.

8. No Unattended Operation

Unless the Product documentation expressly states otherwise, reloading equipment using Hit Factor Sports Products should not be operated unattended.

The operator should remain in a position to observe the operation of the equipment and stop operation if a malfunction, jam, feeding problem, or other unsafe condition occurs.

Automated equipment, sensors, alarms, and shutdown systems are supplemental safety features and are not substitutes for appropriate operator supervision and judgment.

9. Safety Devices Are Supplemental

Sensors, alarms, interlocks, automatic shutdown systems, primer-level detection systems, or other monitoring devices supplied by or used with Hit Factor Sports Products are intended to assist the operator.

No sensor, electronic system, or mechanical safety device should be assumed to detect every unsafe condition or prevent every malfunction.

The user remains responsible for monitoring the equipment and following appropriate safety procedures.

10. Product Misuse

Products must only be used for their intended purposes and in accordance with Company instructions.

Misuse may include, without limitation:

  • Operating the Product contrary to instructions or warnings;

  • Using damaged or incompatible primers or components;

  • Continuing operation after a jam or abnormal condition occurs;

  • Defeating or bypassing safety systems;

  • Using the Product while damaged or improperly adjusted;

  • Unauthorized modification or repair;

  • Operating the Product outside its intended operating conditions; or

  • Using the Product for an application for which it was not designed.

The Company is not responsible for damages caused by misuse to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Limited Warranty

Certain Products may be covered by the separate Hit Factor Sports Limited Warranty Policy.

All warranty coverage, exclusions, remedies, claim procedures, shipping responsibilities, warranty periods, and other warranty terms are governed by the applicable Limited Warranty Policy.

This Product Safety & Liability Notice does not modify, expand, replace, or supersede the Company’s Limited Warranty Policy.

In the event of a conflict concerning warranty coverage, the applicable written Limited Warranty Policy controls.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Mayol Engineering LLC d/b/a Hit Factor Sports and its members, managers, employees, contractors, representatives, and affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from or relating to the purchase, installation, operation, misuse, failure, repair, replacement, or inability to use a Product.

Such damages may include, without limitation:

  • Loss of use;

  • Lost production;

  • Lost revenue or profits;

  • Business interruption;

  • Loss of data;

  • Cost of substitute equipment; or

  • Damage to equipment or property to the extent such damages may lawfully be limited.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company’s aggregate liability arising from or relating to a Product shall not exceed the amount actually paid to the Company for the Product giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in this Notice is intended to exclude, waive, or limit liability for personal injury, death, defective products, gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or any other liability to the extent that such liability cannot lawfully be excluded, waived, or limited.

13. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mayol Engineering LLC d/b/a Hit Factor Sports and its members, managers, employees, contractors, representatives, and affiliates from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to:

  • Your misuse of a Product;

  • Unauthorized modification or alteration of a Product;

  • Improper installation or adjustment;

  • Operation contrary to Company instructions or warnings;

  • Violation of applicable law;

  • Unlawful use of a Product;

  • Your negligence or intentional misconduct; or

  • Your resale, installation, or provision of a Product to another person in a manner inconsistent with Company instructions or warnings.

This indemnification provision does not apply to claims to the extent caused by conduct of the Company for which liability cannot legally be shifted to another party.

14. No Guarantee Against Malfunction

Mechanical and electronic equipment can malfunction.

Although Products may be designed to improve reliability, feeding consistency, monitoring, automation, or safety, the Company does not represent or guarantee that any Product will operate without interruption or prevent every jam, primer malfunction, equipment malfunction, unsafe condition, or operator error.

The user must remain attentive to equipment operation and stop operation when an abnormal or unsafe condition occurs.

15. Information, Videos, and Technical Support

Instructions, videos, diagrams, FAQs, recommendations, technical-support communications, social-media content, and other information provided by Hit Factor Sports are intended to assist customers in properly installing and operating Products.

Such information does not replace:

  • The instructions of the ammunition component manufacturer;

  • The instructions of the reloading press manufacturer;

  • Appropriate firearms and ammunition reloading training;

  • Safe operating practices; or

  • The user’s responsibility to evaluate the safety of a particular setup.

Product configurations and instructions may change over time. Users should consult the most current information available from Hit Factor Sports.

16. Compliance With Applicable Law

The purchaser and user are solely responsible for ensuring that the purchase, possession, installation, export, import, resale, and use of Products comply with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws and regulations.

The availability of a Product for sale does not constitute a representation that the Product may lawfully be purchased, possessed, installed, or used in every jurisdiction.

17. Severability

If any provision of this Notice is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

18. No Waiver

The Company’s failure to enforce any provision of this Notice in any particular circumstance does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right of the Company.

19. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, installing, possessing, or using a Hit Factor Sports Product, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read and understood this Product Safety & Liability Notice;

  • Ammunition reloading and primer handling involve inherent risks;

  • You accept responsibility for properly installing, maintaining, and operating the Product;

  • You agree to follow all Company warnings and instructions; and

  • You agree to the provisions of this Notice to the extent permitted by applicable law.

For online purchases, the Company may also require affirmative acceptance of this Notice and other applicable Terms of Sale during checkout.
